What a glorious Day! What a historic turning point!
Two shrines stand at the peak of planet earth, side by side: a
cross and a tomb; at the end were made both empty, because the
one to whom they were given is Risen, in eternally and divinely
triumphant glory.
The Risen Lord is the Son of Man, the new foundation of the
human race; therefore, all of us have triumphed in him, and by
his grace shall share his glory.
In communion with the Catholic
Church and the whole ecclesial body of our Lord’s disciples
and believers, in union with the entirety of the
Patriarchate of Babylon and her Chaldean and Assyrian people
everywhere, especially with the clergy and faithful of our
Diocese, we proclaim his resurrection and ultimate victory,
thus having such confidence and hope against all hardships
and trials.
The Lord is Risen
