Notes for Sunday:
1-
Next Wednesday is the fifth anniversary of the
Ordination of Bishop Sarhad Jammo as the Bishop of St. Peter
Diocese.
2-
Next Sunday we will celebrate the fifth anniversary of
establishing St. Peter Chaldean
Diocese. We will meet after the Mass at the church’s
hall, so there will
be no funerals reservations at
the hall next Sunday.
3- St. George’s convent in
Riverside needs our help. Currently there is one
religious
priest living in the monastery and soon
another religious priest will
arrive and live there
as well. The monastery
needs a fence around it for safety
purposes.
We ask you to donate the cost of
the fence and we hope that one
family or more
will adopt this project because St.
George is dear to us.
4- Ten of our Chaldean
young people (The Chaldean Comedy Club) raised
$5,000 from a play. They
donated the profit for the building of Education
Center in our Cathedral.
5- Bring your help for
refugees to the Good Samaritan Retirement Center- Every
Thursday from 5-7 pm.
