CMSS Grand Opening

Chaldean Middle Eastern Social Services celebrated the grand opening of their Social Service Agency on January 11, 2008. Services include but are not limited to: Behavioral Health, Case Management, Education and Prevention, Social Services, Employment Assistance and a joint immigration program with Chaldean Federation of America. 

A tremendous outpour of support from County and State officials was present at the Open House. Over 200 people attended the event. The list of attendees included County Deputy Director Pam Smith, Representatives from Senator Duchany, County Supervisor, Mayor Mark Lewis, Senator Deddeha, Judge Peter Deddeha, Bishop Jammo, Several Chaldean Priests, IRC, Catholic Charities, Several East County Providers, GLS, Lexicon, Alliance Health Care Foundation, Grossmont Union School District, El Cajon Valley School District, Maximus, San Diego County Library staff, and many community members who wanted to show their support for the Center.

A special thanks is extended to CFA’s Mr. Mike George and Joe Kassab for flying in from Michigan to attend the Open House and Fund Raising event to celebrate the joint venture of the Immigration Program.
