Assyrians in Los Angeles Endorse the ACAD Declaration
 

Endorsement

Dear Mar Bawai,

On Wednesday; January 23, 2008, we received a copy of the Press Release
 about the "Declaration of Intention" which is signed by the Bishop,
 priests and deacons of the Assyrian Catholic Apostolic Diocese. A
 meeting of our Support Committee in Los Angeles in regard to this
 issue was held on Thursday; January 24, 2008.

After much reflection and discussion of this issue, the members of the
 Support Committee unanimously agreed to endorse the intention of the 
clergy of our Diocese (ACAD) in restoring communion with the Catholic
 Church and resuming unity with the Chaldean Catholic Church.

At the end of the meeting, we decided to send you this letter to show 
our support and congratulate our clergy and faithful for this very
 happy and special occasion. Our meeting ended at 9:30 PM.
