Palm Springs Youth Trip

On Monday February 18th, 2008 early morning, Father Michael, ready & alert, started our day with a delightful prayer and prepared us for this great adventurous trip.  On the bus there was a lot of energy and enthusiasm from our youth. 

Palm Springs was as different as it is every time we go there.  The snow was deep and the hiking was never-ending. However, with Father Michael's motivation we continued through until we got to the top of all the mountain peaks.  We made snow mans, threw snow balls at each other and we went sliding down many hills and valleys. 

Our group was very thrilled to see so much snow.  Many of us had difficulties keeping up with Father Michael and Father Poulos because they were always ahead of us. As we got to the top and at our last stop we sat down and prayed together admiring the beauty of the surrounding nature and thanking God for the great opportunity of being able to enjoy his creation, make new friends, and most of all spend time with Father Michael and Father Poulos.  Then we "shopped till we dropped" at the Palm Springs outlet where everything is always on sale!!!
