On Friday, March 7, after the prayers of Via Dolorosa (Stations of Cross) there was a gathering of newly selected members of St.Paul Parish Council. The two new faces in this council are Mr. Sargon Kashto and Mr.Edward Baba, members of Assyrian Apostolic Catholic Diocese (ACAD), whohave joined us in working together as members of one church. As you’re aware we’re on the path toward unity between ACAD and Chaldean Catholic Church, which is to be materialized once the communion between ACAD and Roman Catholic Church is established. St. Paul church has taken number of steps toward this final unification with ACAD members, here in Los Angeles. This and other steps of incorporating the members of ACAD in our parish is to bring our brothers and sisters together as are our ecclesial leaders, trying the same in their course. We ask all members of St. Paul parish to welcome our ACAD members in our midst as we’re now ONE. The new members of parish council are; (FL)Sargon Yadegar, Edward Baba, (Fr. Tomy & Fr. Noel), Sargon Kashto, Yootam Salmani-Nazloo (BL) Nino Issakhan, Angel Khodabakhsh, Edward Panoussi, Kaldia Nazaradan, Amanoail Youkhana, and Bianca Golpashin.
