The lecture which lasted more than three hours was mainly to explain the celebration of the Holy Mass (Raze) according to the Church of the East liturgy in both its tendencies practiced today by our people.  The following topics were elaborated on such as:

* The ceremonial movement.

* The importance of the cross.

* The positioning of the cross at the altar.

* The meaning and the relevance of the veil.

* The Qanke.

* Offering of the body & blood of Christ.

Present also at the lecture was H.G. Mar Bawai Soro, Fr. Kamal Bidawid, Fr. Youshia Sana, Fr. Michael Barota and Fr. Edward Bakus.

After the lecture the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Thomas Church served  all the participants with a wonderful and flavorful lunch.  Then both bishops with a group of priests, deacons and parishioners visited the newly purchased St. Matthew church building in Ceres, which shall soon be consecrated.
