On Monday March 06 while the students were having launch, an explosion was heard in the garden of “Al Selekh” Chaldean Seminary-Baghdad. Fr. Azad Sabri, the rector of the minor seminary said: “We heard three explosions in the neighborhood, but the forth one was enormous!”  Rushing out, they stepped out of the main door of the seminary and saw a hall about one meter in depth. The seminary’s car was also hit.

One of the students was injured. They took him into the hospital and he is staying there for 24 hours until the doctors assure that he is in stable condition.
